We are a Community Interest Company based in Ribble Valley, Lancashire, created to help people rediscover who they are, build resilience, and find belonging through creativity and story. Life transitions — from motherhood, career change, loss, migration or the everyday pressures of work and family — can leave people feeling unseen or uncertain of their identity.

At UnSelf, we create safe, inclusive spaces where people can explore who they are beyond roles and labels, strengthen confidence, and connect with others on the same journey.

Our Approach
Alongside community arts projects like Cosy Stories and Resilience Circles, we’re developing interactive tools that explore identity and wellbeing in new ways. This includes creative workshops, online courses, a free identity quiz, and plans for a wellbeing app that blends reflection with connection — so anyone can start their journey with UnSelf, wherever they are.
